Casting Pad

Cast padding is an orthopedic accessory, used when a limb is placed in a plaster cast. The padding provides a cushion between the skin and the plaster. Available in standard sizes, our padding is offered in two types: soft, natural cellulose fibers and viscose fibers. The cellulose variety is recommended for use by those prone to skin allergies, as the natural fiber is hypoallergenic. Our cast padding is soft and elastic, to protect the exposed bones and nerves under the hard casting. The fine fibrous web-like structure is strong enough to permit easy application in circular turns. This padding can be used for padding splints and other applications. Only white colour is offered, as the padding is generally not seen.
